Post-Doctoral Position in Antibody Research and Development

A position is available the Antibody Production and Research Facility
in the Faculty of Medicine, University of Malaya. Candidate must
have a PhD degree and well versed in antibody technology, including
generation of monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies, hybridoma technology,
phage display and scaling up of antibody production. The candidate
should be well versed in the biochemistry and application aspects of
antibodies. A knowledge and experience in antibody engineering would
be an advantage.
The candidate is expected to work independently to run the antibody
production and research facility, to be responsible to assist faculty and
external clients in producing antibodies against antibodies of interest
and and to participate in the training of both post-graduate and
undergraduate students.
An initial contract of 1 year will be offered, renewable for at least 2
years upon satisfactory performance. Salary is negotiable and will
commiserate with experience and expertise. Foreign candidates are
